We are honored to share that in the spring of 2022, the distributors of the remarkable Bulgarian film In the Heart of the Machine reached out to us to create a joint campaign with prizes — because we believe that true wonders happen when two passions meet.
In the Heart of the Machine (2022, directed by Martin Makariev) is a dramatic thriller that captured the hearts of audiences. The film features some of the most iconic names in Bulgarian cinema — Aleksandar Sano, Hristo Shopov, Ivaylo Hristov, Yulian Vergov, Igor Angelov, Hristo Petkov, Vladimir Zombori, and Bashar Rahal.
The film not only won hearts, but also earned prestigious recognition — it received the Golden Rose Award and the Best Film Award at Sofia Film Fest. It was also chosen as Bulgaria’s official submission for the 95th Academy Awards in the category of International Feature Film.
Naturally, the team of In the Heart of the Machine joined us here at Raketa. For us, it was a moment when cinema and flavors came together — symbolically marking the beginning of a meaningful campaign to promote Bulgarian cinema. Not just a collaboration, but a celebration of Bulgarian culture, of film, and of the community that loves to gather, share stories, and raise a toast together.
