Do you know what a rakia masterclass is? Something like school, but for grown-ups – with rakia, laughter, and appetizers instead of tests.
These are our rakia tastings – educational yet fun events, organized with Rakia Shop, simply because we love them (and our guests do too).
We gather, pick a theme (grape rakias, plum potions, aperitifs, winter rakias, summer rakias with ice cream – all sorts of wonders), and taste 4 to 6 rakias. Each comes with a short story, tasting notes, and its unique character.
And of course, with the perfect mezze from our kitchen – because without mezze and love, neither rakia nor life goes far.
We serve tasting portions (20–30 ml) with small bites. And we’ll explain what rakia really is, where it comes from, and how to drink it properly – not like a thirsty student after an exam.
Our first rakia workshop was almost 9 years ago. Since then, we’ve collected stories, memories, friends… and a fine collection of empty bottles.
